T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. The Role

T1 Energy is looking to hire a Training and Development Coordinator to support the execution and tracking of training programs at our high-volume solar module manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining training documentation, and assisting with employee development initiatives to ensure compliance, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.

What You'll Do

  • Train employees in the classroom on assigned/required courses.
  • Coordinate and support onboarding sessions for new hires, including safety orientation, security orientation and introduction to production processes.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of training materials (manuals, visual aids, sign-in sheets, and digital resources).
  • Track training completion, certifications, and employee participation using internal systems and tools; maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Schedule and organize training sessions across various shifts to ensure full team coverage.
  • Collaborate with trainers, supervisors, and departments leads to identifying training needs and schedule appropriate sessions.
  • Support translation of training materials and communications for Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Assist with delivering group training sessions or one-on-one instruction as needed.
  • Help coordinate cross-training and skills development programs to enhance workforce flexibility.
  • Monitor training feedback and escalate areas of concern to the Training Supervisor for follow-up or process improvement.
  • Translate documents.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Industrial Education, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in a training or administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of instructional techniques and adult learning principles is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple training schedules and records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking in front of groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-based environment and interact with both office and floor-level staff.

Schedule

  • Full-time, hourly (4pm-12:30am-Monday-Friday)
  • May require occasional evening or weekend sessions to accommodate multiple shifts
