Responsibilities:

As a Software Intern, you will be an active member of our engineering team, contributing to real-world projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Software Development & Portfolio Knowledge: Actively increase your technology knowledge and skills by designing, developing, and testing software solutions related to Zebra's cutting-edge product portfolio.

  • Project Contribution: Take ownership of your assigned tasks within a team-based environment, developing essential planning, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with software engineering leaders, product managers, and your mentor to manage assignments and contribute to team goals.

  • Professional Communication: Practice and refine your interpersonal skills by connecting with team members and other business contacts, providing status updates and participating in project follow-up activities.

  • Technical Growth: Actively increase your knowledge of our technologies and development processes, applying what you learn to solve complex challenges.

THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN HOLTSVILLE, NY. THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate in Computer Science

  • Must have an anticipated graduation date of May 2027

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills - Clear and effective verbal and written communication

  • Adaptability and Learning Agility - Willingness to learn quickly, embrace new tools or methods, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with technology solutions.
