Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial trucks preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
