  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards in a highly regulated industry.
  • Fact‑check claims, disclosures, statistics, and product details.
  • Enforce editorial standards, style guides, and terminology consistently across deliverables.
  • Refine or support editorial QA processes as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong portfolio or work samples demonstrating marketing or communications experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a client-facing capacity, managing relationships and expectations without daily oversight.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a client‑facing role.
  • Experience working within an agency environment.
  • Expert command of grammar, AP style, and brand voice adaptation.
  • Ability to simplify complex subject matter for general audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project‑management skills.
  • Comfort working in compliance‑driven and regulated environments.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Monday, Workfront), and digital asset management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines independently, proactively communicating status to both agency and client teams.
  • Ability to incorporate feedback from compliance and legal reviews efficiently, maintaining quality while meeting regulatory standards.
  • Experience with SEO-driven content strategy and performance-based copywriting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with regulatory review processes and legal/compliance workflows.
  • Background in UX writing, digital product content, or SEO‑driven copy.
  • Experience developing or maintaining editorial style guides.
  • Copy editing certification (ACES, EFA, or equivalent) a plus.
