Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 5 years of experience leading and/or contributing to every stage of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, specification documentation, development, prototyping, testing, and deployment for scalable, complex business solutions.
• We need at least 3 years of experience with an object-oriented programming language.
• We need experience building large-scale cloud-native applications and/or custom solutions on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or a similar environment.
• We need experience automating tests, including unit, integration, or end-to-end testing, as well as build and delivery pipelines.
• We are looking for a software engineering leader with experience mentoring and coaching engineers on development practices, patterns, and processes.
• We need someone who can communicate effectively with and influence individual contributors, peers, and leaders across the broader Front Office team.
• We need experience organizing teams to balance technical enhancements with business priorities.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js, React.js, or Angular.js in TypeScript.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, OpenSearch, API Gateway, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with event-driven architecture using cloud/serverless microservices.
• Preferred qualifications include experience leading a global development team using Agile and DevOps methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Preferred qualifications include experience delivering technology solutions for Sales or Logistics domains.
• Preferred qualifications include experience collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Oracle ERP or Transportation Management System development.

• We partner with product owners and business users to shape the product roadmap using their feedback.
• We work with product owners and architects to produce design documents for system integrations, including delivery risks, dependencies, and estimates.
• We collaborate with architecture, development, and security teams to ensure our logistics products follow architectural and security best practices.
• We coordinate with the Delivery Lead to break down work, estimate effort, and assign tasks across delivery teams.
• We make sure delivery teams understand our SDLC and the quality expectations for their products.
• We use the Serverless Framework, AWS services, and React to build high-volume applications and services in a complex distributed system.
• We develop and support services within an event-driven and API-driven architecture that integrates with other internal teams and third-party systems.
• We collaborate with developers across teams and regions, and participate in steering groups for developer tools and initiatives.
• We assess technical risks, identify issues, and provide direction for current and future applications and services supported by our team.
