(Forensics)!
($7,172 - $8,910 Monthly)

The Department of State Hospitals – Coalinga is now accepting applications for a  Full-Time, Permanent  Supervisor I position in Forensics. The incumbent responsible for supervising, training, and monitoring the work of analysts in the Forensics Patient Movement department while personally performing the most difficult, sensitive, and complex work.

Working Conditions

The employee is required to work any shift and schedule in a variety of settings throughout the hospital and may be required to work overtime and float to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital. All employees are required to have an annual health review and TB test or whenever necessary to ascertain that they are free from symptoms indicating the presence of infection and are able to safely perform their essential job functions.

Telework : This position is eligible for a hybrid (remote-centered) telework schedule.  Incumbent will be required to be onsite full-time for New Employee Orientation (NEO) and may be required to continue this schedule for on-the-job training afterwards.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
• The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

• Experience in Patient Admissions and Discharges
• Experience with Computer Programs (Microsoft, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience working in and/or in collaboration with government agencies
