3D Environment Artist / 3D Generalist (ROBLOX)
We are looking for a skilled 3D Environment Artist / Generalist to help create high-quality, stylized environments for our ROBLOX Experience 'Eleons'. This role involves working across multiple parts of the 3D pipeline, from blockout to final in-engine implementation, with a strong focus on readability, performance, and cohesive visual design.
Responsibilities:
- Create modular assets for efficient world building
- Implement and iterate on environments directly in Roblox Studio
- Ensure environments are optimized for performance
- Own the workflow pipeline, creating an environment from scratch to finish
- Collaborate with developers to support gameplay and player experience
- Iterate based on feedback
- Create an immersive environment for the roblox community
Requirements:
- Understanding of game optimization principles (draw calls, modularity, texture reuse)
- Strong problem-solving and iteration skills
- Solid understanding of core 3D art fundamentals
- Proficiency in Blender or another modeling software
- Proficiency in Substance painter
Nice to have:
- Experience working in Roblox Studio
- Knowledge of modular workflows and trim sheets
- Experience with lighting and scene composition in-engine```
