Under general supervision, the incumbent will be responsible for the archival preservation of all permanent documents of the ACS. The position requires training and knowledge of court documents as well as indexing and digital retrieval processes. This position requires lifting boxes weighing up to 35 pounds on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
Regular Job Duties Will Include The Following This position receives and inventories boxes of case files from statewide court locations by court location and case type, and prepares documents for scanning by identifying permanent and non-permanent records, removing fasteners, repairing damaged pages, and creating target sheets. The incumbent operates computers and scanning equipment to index and digitize case files and audio media, producing high-quality digital records that meet industry standards. Responsibilities also include conducting box audits as a quality control measure, evaluating confidential records for final disposition and destruction, and producing audio duplicates upon request. The position maintains production logs and reports to track work output and time, performs other clerical duties as assigned, and works in a high-volume production environment that requires significant time preparing files for archiving, adherence to production schedules, and a strong attention to detail. The Work Hours Full-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
